Something about me

So I've been trying to think of something to blog about all morning. I know that my life revolves around my son, but that doesn't mean that I don't have something to share right? Well, I really looked deep and there really isn't a whole lot. This is what I came up with. I am going to learn to sew. I wanted a sewing machine for Christmas and I finally got one from Mark for my birthday. Thing is, I don't know what I am doing when I'm on it! I bought a couple patterns on Tuesday so that I have some options of things to make. One pattern is for clothes for Cailen - button up shirts, pants, sweats, tshirt, hat. The other is for me - an apron! Wow, how domestic huh? I'm sewing....an apron...for a wife and mother. I know. But I am rather excited. Both for the future finished product so I can prove to others that I do have a skill, and for the future finished product so I can wear it while cooking! Those moments will be few and far in between but they will still take place. My plan today is to go buy fabric so that I am one step closer to my goal. Cailen is just sleeping all morning so I haven't been able to get out the door. Why can't he sleep as good during the night as he does sometimes during the day? I swear...Anywho. I guess I could be using this opportunity to get my house clean. HA! Who does that? Not me. I am relishing some alone time to blog. And sit around in my pj's eating Cherrio's. Ah, the life.
