Oops!

Oops! I haven't updated in a little while and I'm sorry. I will give you all the exciting news from the Barber home, don't you worry. Ok...so there's not a whole lot! As an update to my sewing escapade, I zoomed right along last weekend with sewing my apron. I have to admit, it looks pretty darn good. There's just one last thing I have to do...a slipstitch. For any of you that know how to do that, please call me! It's all I have to do and my lovely apron would be done! But alas, it's been sitting here this past week without its slipstitch, so it's not done and I can't wear it (you know, with all that cooking I do, HA!). In other news, this weekend was not so hot for Mark. He got his electronic drum set stolen out of his car while parked at my parents house. DEPRESSING! I was so mad, but I could tell that Mark was just shocked and frustrated and every other emotion. He kinda just walked around with this blank look on his face. He saved all his Christmas and Bday money he got for that thing. He had it about a week. Sad huh? The girls we work with decided they were going to ask their parents for donations so Mark can get a new one. So, donations accepted :) We haven't gotten any yet though, haha. Cailen turned 9 months old on the 4th and is quickly approaching his 10 month mark it seems! He has cut a couple more teeth, this time on the top. He is also currently being a pill and refusing to eat his breakfast! Who wouldn't want to eat Chicken with broth mixed with carrots??? Come on, it's a gourmet meal. As for me, I am debating whether or not I want to go join my little walking group and exercise for an hour or sit around my house in my robe, blogging and thinking about cleaning my house. I have a feeling the latter will win. But only if I promise myself to actually do some cleaning. Yes, I think that choice just officially won, seeing as I only have 15 minutes to feed Cailen, get dressed, get Cailen, his toys and stroller in the car, and drive to meet this group of ladies. I just don't have the energy this morning! Ok, I think that is enough for today. Let me leave you with a picture
Sick looking huh? I think it's hilarious.

Is he really 9 months!?! I remember when he was born and it doesn't seem that long ago. I miss you! We should get together someday.
