Sometimes Technology Hates Me

I hate feeling dumb. But I've come to terms with the fact that technology likes to laugh at me. It really doesn't like me. I will be trying to do something soooo simple and Mark will simply walk over and boom, it's done. I had pushed the same buttons, typed the same thing, plugged in the same wires, whatever, but does it work for me? NOOOOOOOOOOO. Grr. Anywho, I'm reaching out for help with the latest. And it seems so silly. How can I not get this figured out? Ok, so my problem is with Pinterest.

LOOOVE the idea. I totally have an account. I have like 20 followers. Do I have any pin boards? Uh no. That's cause I can't seem to get the stupid pin it button to work and get on my screen here so that I can just do the simple "click"that will automatically copy the site and do all the work for me. I CAN'T GET IT!
Granted, I am still living at my parents (ugh, sigh, groan) and of course, can't figure out their computer. And I don't want to mess with it too much. But honestly. It can't be that hard. What is the DEALIO! So, pinterest people out there, help me out. WHAT THE HECK DO I DO TO START PINNING AROUND HERE?!? I want to get a move on, there are soooo many amazing things I see every day online I want to pin, but I'm a techno-loser. Help me out people. My followers could use something to look at.

(thanks followers, I love you all and I appreciate that you are my friends despite me not having a single thing to look at...it's quite funny actually.)

*Ok, so update. I went to try AGAIN to add the Pin It button and suddenly I had three! THREE! So I think my previous attempts worked, they just decided to hide from me. Small miracle of being persistent. YAY it works!

You don't technically need to have the "pin it" button. You can just copy the URL and past it in the "Add a Pin" pull down tool.

But adding the pin it button is totally easy and I recommend having it. I think they send you an email with instructions when you first sign up.

Here's a website that might help. http://pinterest.com/about/
