Candy Obsession Update

I'm obviously trying to document my child and his cuteness. He says lots of really cute things and I just can not remember them all! I figured this next one was worth recording on my blog because it had to do with the whole Candy Obsession...

We were at the movie rental store tonight (yes I realize it's now Sunday because it's 1 in the morning, just ignore), which is where I'm pretty sure the last candy exclamation incident occurred, and Cailen was telling us he wanted candy. I told him no and that we had some at home. "I want movie store candy" he told me. Again, I told him no (it was past 10 pm! He's not getting candy!). We grabbed our movies and headed to the car. As I am opening the door to get him in his car seat he informs me very clearly and a little forceful, "I want candy in my mouth." It was darn cute and I laughed and so did Mark. That's probably why he kept repeating that phrase as well as a simple "I want candy" and "candy" the whole way home. It was like his mantra, there was no break from his constant desire for candy. (Luckily, he got over it when we got home because he had to go to bed. phew)

On a side note, when I was putting him in the car a little bit earlier that night, he went all locked knees on me! I could NOT get him to sit down in his seat, he was STRONG! How does that happen? He's 2, he's not stronger than me! But I could not get him to bend his legs or anything. Mark had to reach around from the drivers seat to help me out and even then, I had to wrestle with the kid to get his arms in the straps. He was laughing quite hysterically and thought it was hilarious. Actually, it kinda was. :) My kid's funny.
