Picking Apples

My lovely grandma so graciously offered her apples from her apple tree to me and my mom. We took the opportunity to go pick them last night (before the looovely concert) and made it a family event. Cailen even helped out! We got about 3 or 4 boxes worth and are planning on making applesauce on Tuesday. I am so excited! They are pretty tasty apples and so we are going to keep some around for just snacking on too! Here are some shots of the family picking apples. And then afterwards, we all enjoyed a dinner of tacos and tortilla soup. YUM! I love that stuff! I am so excited to make my applesauce and add to my food storage too. Thanks Grandma!!
